Governor João Doria confirms presence at SIAVS 2019
São Paulo, April 18, 2019 – The Governor of the State of São Paulo, João Doria, scheduled for August 27, at the Convention Center of Anhembi Parque in São Paulo (SP).
João Dória began yesterday (April 17) the president of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Francisco Turra, which promotes SIAVS – the main commercial, technical and political event of the sectors in Brazil. With him, members of the board and councils of the association, as chairman of the advisory council, José Carlos Zanchetta, and the president of the Paulista Poultry Association (APA), Érico Pozzer.
During a meeting, ABPA representatives discussed the feasibility of investments in the productive sector in the state, as well as points related to sectoral impacts in São Paulo and Brazil.
About SIAVS, Turra and the governor of São Paulo defined details of the state’s solemnity and participation in the event, which attract the thousands of technicians and producers of poultry, pigs and eggs from all over Brazil.
“SIAVS is renewed with each edition and in 2019 intends to incorporate an even more focused agenda. This is the global basis of the state of the world. The insights built at this meeting with Governor Doria are the foundation of this agenda, “says Turra.
About SIAVS – The main national calendar event for poultry and swine breeding, SIAVS attracted its latest edition of 15,000 visitors from 51 countries.
Around 1,700 congress participants participated in one of the largest agribusiness lectures. The Producer Project, an exclusive initiative of SIAVS focused on poultry farmers and pig farmers, attracted 1,400 producers to Anhembi Parque.
About 150 companies exhibited their products and solutions at the largest fair of poultry and swine breeding in Brazil. In all, 31 agroindustries exported poultry, eggs and pigs participated in the event, in meetings with importers, domestic buyers and suppliers.
