CEOs debate animal protein perspectives during panel at SIAVS
The CEOs of the biggest pork and poultry agroindustries in Brazil debated the future of the production chain in one of the most traditional panels at the International Pork and Poultry Show (SIAVS), the largest event of the industries in Brazil, to take place from August 27 through 29, in the city and state of São Paulo.
For the CEO panel, we have the confirmed presence of Aurora Alimentos CEO (the largest animal protein cooperative in Brazil), Mário Lanznaster; the CEO of BRF, Lorival Nogueira Luz, and the Global CEO of JBS, Gilbert Tomazoni.
The panel which will be moderated by the Executive Director of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), Ricardo Santin, will present the perspectives of the leaders of the largest producers and exporters of poultry and pork in Brazil, in regards to the production sector, the domestic and international market, among other matters.
The CEO Panel has been part of SIAVS since the first edition in its new format, back in 2011. Since then, the meeting has become one of the main moments to reflect upon the current and future industry landscape.
“SIAVS is one of the most awaited moments in 2019. It is when we debate sectorial expectations and demands for transformations that allow the Country to continue to be in the leadership of the international animal protein businesses,” highlights the President of ABPA, Francisco Turra.

About SIAVS – Main event on the Brazilian pork and poultry calendar, SIAVS is organized by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). In its last edition, the event attracted over 15,000 visitors from 51 countries. Approximately 1.7 thousand delegates took part in one of the biggest agribusiness conference agendas. The Producer Project, an exclusive SIAVS initiative focused on pork and poultry farmers, attracted 1.4 thousand farmers to Anhembi Parque.
Approximately 150 companies exhibited their products and solutions in the biggest pork and poultry tradeshow in Brazil. In all, 31 poultry, eggs and pork exporters took part in the event. They participated in the meetings with importers, domestic market buyers and vendors.
