The International Poultry Show (SIAVS) closed on Thursday (31) with the arrival of importers of poultry, pork and eggs from Brazil, organized by the Brazilian Association of Animal Proteins (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil).
In all, 20 representatives of importing companies participated in the action. They are entrepreneurs from 11 countries: Germany, Thailand, South Korea, Russia, Chile, Denmark, Spain, United States, Mexico, Japan and the Philippines.
For the initiative, a large structure with 396 square meters was set up amidst the largest fair in the Brazilian poultry, egg and pork sectors. Twenty-six Brazilian agroindustries were part of the action in the pavilion built by ABPA. Five other producers and exporters of poultry and pigs participated with their own stands.
In addition to the companies coming from the Project, dozens of other importers visited the agro-industries space in SIAVS and closed deals.
According to surveys made with participating agroindustries, US $ 19 million in sales were made in the three days of SIAVS. The companies still project businesses of US $ 173.1 million from the contacts made during the event.
