SIAVS promotes competitiveness for poultry and swine producers
Small and medium-sized suppliers and producers of poultry, swine and eggs from all over the country will participate, between August 9th and 11th, at Anhembi Parque, in the International Poultry and Pig Farming Exhibition (SIAVS), the largest event of the sectors in the country. Headquarters of the largest poultry and swine farming fair in Brazil, SIAVS has the support of SEBRAE and will encourage the realization of new opportunities and investments for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, from producers to companies in the sector, through business rounds and sales direct actions, in addition to image actions and enhancement of the production chain.
The event will also include a wide program aimed at the technical development of these entrepreneurs. An example of this is the Producer Project, with free lectures on good practices, productive management, economic and environmental sustainability of the property and reinforcement of controls for the activity. Held by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), SIAVS will be even bigger than its previous edition, held in 2019. Its commercial area was expanded by 30%, adding new annexes to the space traditionally occupied by the fair.
According to the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, the promotion of business, technical exchange and promotion of investments in technology will increase the competitive capacity of these small producers, at the same time as it stimulates the development of productive centers, with potential economic and social impacts. . “Stimulating entrepreneurship and technology in small properties, SIAVS reinforces its positioning in the sector as a stage for fostering the country’s economic and social development, promoting investments and new business opportunities for the entire production chain”, evaluates the ABPA President Ricardo Santin.
In addition to business opportunities, SIAVS will host the largest technical conference in the sector, with an intense program and more than 100 speakers from Brazil and other countries. The political weight of the event is another differential. Authorities from the national and state executive and legislative powers are expected, expanding the event’s role as the main point of debate on the directions of the sectors.
In 2019, the event received more than 20 thousand visitors from 50 countries, with more than 170 exhibitors. In the dozens of conference rooms, presentations by more than 100 speakers from Brazil and other countries took place for 2,400 delegates.
