ABPA and ApexBrasil promote international image action during SIAVS
Dozens of foreign journalists will be on mission in Brazil between August 9th and 11th, through an action organized by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil) during the International Salon of Poultry and Pig Farming (SIAVS), in São Paulo (SP).
Known as Projeto Imagem, the action has the confirmation of about 30 journalists coming from strategic markets for Brazilian animal protein, such as nations in the European Union, the Americas, Asia and Africa.
The action will feature presentations on the productive sector, participation in specific SIAVS lectures – such as the CEOs’ panel, with agribusiness leaders – and visits to the facilities of companies in the sector. The program will also feature gastronomic experiences in the capital of São Paulo, in an immersion in Brazilian cuisine.
Among the topics covered in the presentations will be productive information, quality and sustainability issues, as well as challenges for the productive sector, as a global player in food supply.
“The Image Project is one of our most relevant image platforms, with the purpose of reinforcing the Brazilian position against food frontiers, by demystifying issues that distort the image of the production chain, among other points. With transparency and information, we want to strengthen, together with importing nations, the values that guide the production of animal protein in Brazil”, highlights the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
