ABPA presents competitiveness analysis at SIAVS 2022

The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) will present a study on the competitiveness of the country’s production chain during the International Poultry and Pig Farming Exhibition (SIAVS), the largest event in the sectors in Brazil, which will be held between August 9th and 11th, at Anhembi Parque, in São Paulo (SP).

The study will be presented in a panel scheduled for the first day of the event (August 9), in a debate led by ABPA’s market director, Luís Rua, who will also present the main points of the survey.

“Among the topics covered by the study will be production cost parameters such as inputs and energy, logistical bottlenecks and other factors, in addition to comparative analyzes with major global competitors in the poultry, eggs and pork sectors”, says Rua.

The panel will also include the participation of Fabrizio Panzini,  José Roberto Goulart, from Alibem Alimentos, José Antônio Ribas Junior, from Seara Alimentos, and Bernardo Gallo, from Cobb Vantress.

Before the panel, the study will be officially presented at the opening ceremony of SIAVS, by the association’s president, Ricardo Santin.

“SIAVS will address reflections in several areas throughout its programming in order to advance in competitiveness issues. The study that we will present and deliver to the Federal Government at the opening ceremony is a guideline that analyzes, from an economic perspective, what holds us back and what puts us at an advantage in international chess, allowing us to build more assertive solutions to maintain our position. as major global food producers”, says Santin.
